Now is the time for games, campfires, and making buddies. Gales Creek Camp is THE place for kids from all over the Pacific Northwest to share their experiences living with type 1 diabetes. It might be the most important opportunity for kids to find the good in a challenging diagnosis.

Day Family Camp is for our tiniest campers and their families

August 16, 2025 | 9am to 4pm

Join us for this special day where Kindergarten campers and their families can get a taste of what a day at camp will be like. While campers and siblings become "campers" for a day, swimming, hiking, playing games, and making new friends, parents are offered an opportunity to connect with our staff and one another. This is a chance for parents to ask questions of about how Gales Creek Camp ensures the safety of all campers, and it's a chance to meet other parents and caregivers who are also raising a young person with type 1 diabetes.
