1st Bank Yuma is hosting Alex's Lemonade Stand at all of their locations on Friday, June 28th. $1 per cup, all proceeds go to benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand.

June 29 (The Kress Ultra Lounge)

80's Flashback Dinner & Dance to benefit Hospice of Yuma. Dinner 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Dancing 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Prizes for best 80's costume. Tickets $10 pre-sale, $12 @ the door. Tickets sold at Hospice of Yuma and Bobby's Territorial Harley Davidson. For more information call 928-343-2222.

 

July 4 (Yuma Armed Services Park)

Flag Raising Ceremony presented by the Caballeros de Yuma. Flag raising is at 7 a.m. and includes a 21-gun salute and patriotic music.

 

July 4 (Cocopah Speedway)

Demolition Derby. 7 p.m. followed by Fireworks display. For more information go to www.cocopahspeedway.com and click on the "Demolition Derby and Fireworks" tab.

 

July 4 (Cocopah Casino Event Lawn)

Celebrate Independence Day at Cocopah Casino's FREE 4th of July Concert & Fireworks Display, Thursday July 4, 2013. Gates open at 6pm and live entertainment by San Diego's own Caliber from 7-10pm. Fireworks display at apx 8:30pm with live music simulcast via KTTI, KQSR & KBLU. There will be a beer garden, numerous food vendors, kid friendly entertainment and free watermelons slices (1 per person) while they last. Outside coolers are not permitted, but patrons are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

July 4 (Engler Estates & San Marcos Villas)
Neighborhood Parade. For more than 50 years, the annual Fourth of July parade has winded through Engler Estates, San Marcos Villas and surrounding neighborhoods. Participants dress up in red white and blue, with the most patriotic costumes, decorated bicycle, pet and vehicle are awarded prizes. The parade begins at 9 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church at 2555 S.
