Happy September, the month that always brings both a surge of fresh energy and a sobering reminder of the passage of time - new beginnings and natural endings.


I love author Stephen Covey's idea about endings. His second habit of highly effective people is to "Begin with the end in mind." I always thought that was a great way to think about legacy. What can you do to be living your life with a minimum of regrets? What can you do to ensure that whenever the time comes, there's not a lot of unfinished business left behind for others to deal with?
