Rosa was living in a rental home with her husband and four daughters when it caught fire last summer. They lost everything and had to move into a small camper. This unexpected crisis made life even more challenging. While her husband works, Rosa stays home to take care of their youngest daughter, Kenya, who was born with Down syndrome. Rosa reached out to A Precious Child to receive emergency clothes and other essentials to replace what they had lost. In six weeks, they'll finally be able to move into affordable housing, but until then they will have to stay in their camper. In addition to asking for blankets, their daughters are four of the 12,000 kids who are on A Precious Child’s list to receive gifts this holiday season.

Your gift will allow kids like Kenya and her sisters to experience the joys of childhood, give them hope for the future and provide a chance to make unforgettable memories with their family.

Here's how you can help. It's simple! You can make a $50 monetary donation to fulfill a child's wishes, host a toy drive and collect gifts to drop off at A Precious Child or drop off donations at one of our Precious Gift sites throughout the Denver Metro area.
You don't have to wait until December 10 th  to make your gift. You can schedule it now! Go to our  Colorado Gives Day  donation page, enter the amount you'd like to give and then select either "Colorado Gives Day" or "Recur Every Colorado Gives Day" as your donation frequency.
Exciting news! A Precious Child is going to be part of the coolest party in town! BOK Financial Biz Bash has selected us as one of its nonprofit beneficiaries. That means this fun and unique event will also raise much-needed dollars to help children and families in need. We'll have more information coming your way soon.
Ball Corporation is one of A Precious Child's committed corporate partners who support our mission in many ways. Recently, The Ball Foundation awarded us with a generous grant to help further our Inspiring Minds program, which provides access to STEM-based activities to children visiting our Resource Center and through educational, take-home STEM kits. Ball employees are also engaged with our work year-round by participating in our Fill A Backpack and Precious Gift drives, and volunteering in our Donation Center. Thank you, Ball, for empowering children in need!
