Five Star Classic - What a Success

Thank you to all who sponsored, supported, and attended the Five Star Classic, presented by Adolfson and Peterson, on June 10th. Because of our sponsors, we raised over $125,000 for Adams 12 Five Star Schools students and career programs.

Funds from these event and from our donors enables the Foundation to continue building the Career Discovery Center that will support career exploration for K-12 students and FutureForward.
The Career Discovery Center will launch this Fall.
Resource Closets Going Strong in the 2021-2022 School Year

In addition to providing career exploration and career readiness opportunities, we will continue supporting learning readiness for Adams 12 Five Star Schools students and their families with resource closets in 31 schools. This past month, we were rewarded the Nourishing Neighbors from the Albertson’s Foundation: Federal Meals Grant of $100,000.00. This funding is supporting our partnership with the Office of Whole Child Initiatives and is focused on helping connect families and children to federal meals and other services. These funds combined with other grants and donations will support the staffing of resource closets through the summer of 2022 to ensure that students have access to food, hygiene products, and school supplies.
