From the producer: Theatre Ontario’s Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is excited to announce E
mergence 2.0, a day for youth by youth. The YAC aims to create events in the theatre community that support young, emerging theatre artists and their careers. This year, our focus has been accessibility in the arts and advocating for yourself. We are passionate about making lasting connections between artists and giving young artists a gateway into their careers.
Emergence 2.0 will be an afternoon of panel discussions and mentorship.

What to expect?
- Advocating for Yourself: an open panel discussion for emerging artists
- Coffee Dates: one-on-one mentorship sessions with an artist*
- Siminovitch Prize: Celebration of the Finalists
*Participants, upon arriving, will select a mentor of their choice to speak with during the Coffee Dates session.
