It's that Time of Year for
Bluebird Days & Powder!


March is the best ski month with longer days and extended lift times! The skiing is spectacular, and more snow is predicted later this week. Town is packed and people are smiling-ahhhh-no masks!
The real estate market is nuts, but you all know that. The number of listings is down considerably so I am just calling old friends and clients like you to see if you want to move up or down and even out! Even with the City Council imposed moratorium on building for the free market (but no stop to Employee Housing or commercial), there is plenty going on here. For example:

  1. The former Crystal Palace building will start again to finish the Restoration Hardware (now RH) Boutique Hotel-second only to their first in NYC!
  2. Red Onion Building-will start again soon with the second floor dedicated to JAS – Jazz Aspen Snowmass (CLICK HERE) and RH showroom in building just east.
  3. Main Street Bakery-FINALLY-planned to start (again) in April to house Sant Ambroeus which is already extremely. Popular in Palm Beach, South Hampton and Manhattan.

At the moment, I have closed on one of the highest priced per square foot unlisted penthouse at the Monarch – approximately $4,800 per square foot, and, I have an unlisted lovely 2,700 sq ft 3/3 single family home listed and ready to close in Mountain Valley plus a single family jewel in the core of town at about $3,100 per sq ft – both sides, and finally a fabulous remodeled single family home just across the river in the east end at about $3,100 per sq ft.
Gorsuch Haus land sells for $76.2 million

A Miami-based development firm founded by a Russian-born billionaire paid $76.25 million this week for nearly 1 acre of land at the base of Aspen Mountain where the sellers had planned to build a slope-side hotel called the Gorsuch Haus.

Celebrate 75 Years of Spring Skiing
KickAspen Night Skiing, March 25 & 26

Aspen Snowmass Celebrates Spring with a Full Lineup of Events, Concerts and Competitions
The first full weekend of Bud Light Spring Jam will collide with KickAspen Night Skiing at Aspen Mountain on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26. Both nights, from 7pm until 10pm—for an honorary $7.50—skiers and riders are invited to come lap the Little Nell Chair under the night sky. CLICK HERE
Sunset Skiing
Enjoy the longer days of sunlight and ski into the sunset with Sunset Skiing at Snowmass on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, and Aspen Mountain on April 1. The lifts will run until 6pm and food and drink will be available at select on-mountain restaurants. Spend the golden hour with us before the sun sets on the 2021-2022 season.

Bud Light Spring Jam
The 22nd annual Spring Jam, the premier spring festival in the Rocky Mountains, will bring a week of competitions, downtown concerts and parties. This year’s calendar includes a host of events throughout March and April including the Banked Slalom, Anon 4 Mtn Mission, the Bud Light Mountain Challenge, and more.


For winter thrills off the slopes, look no further than the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster. Riders will wind their way through over a mile of forest on an elevated track at speeds of up to 28mph. Located adjacent to the Elk Camp Restaurant, riders and passengers will be able to experience the thrilling ride during the day and during special Ullr Nights.
