Greetings Friends!

Hard to believe the ski season is almost over in one month! The lifts are open later and some weekends until 6 and even night skiing!! March ALWAYS brings in big snow and thus far we have 13+inches and more coming.

Activities this month are always fun with the later daylight. This week until March 16, the former Ruthies Restaurant just before the Ruthies lift, Aspen Snowmass presents "Heaven" an interactive art exhibition in partnership with the Aspen Art Museum, by Los Angeles-based artist Alex Israel who also designed the "Heaven” Day ski ticket.

Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are open until April 20 - Easter Sunday.

Check out the closing parties below at each mountain!

REAL ESTATE UPDATE

The market is busy, but I do sense some price resistance on products priced over $5,000 per square foot in great locations that have NOT been updated. The number of single-family home sales in Aspen is constant the last 2 years, but the price per sq foot skyrocketed almost $700.

RESTAURANT UPDATES

Last week I ate at Parc, Angelos, and the newly opened St. Ambroeus in the former Main Street Bakery. The wait for St Ambroeus was well worth it with an exquisite interior, extremely well-trained staff and an excellent chef. The second building will open as a bar in the summer with a large open deck.

I also enjoyed the upgraded JIMOTO, a pleasant space across from the Aspen Art Museum specializing in ramen, poke bowls, and dumplings!

I am told I must try the new AOSTA RISTORANTE, across from the Monarch Steak House and run by the talented Craig and Samantha Cordes-Pierce and WAYAN, next to Maximillan Art Gallery on E. Cooper. Looking forward to trying both of them!
