QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF

• What is the protein in this lunch? (hard-boiled egg, chicken, fish, legumes, nuts, seeds, cheese, Greek yogurt, etc.)
• How many fruits and vegetables do I have? (aim for 2 and 3, respectively)
• eg. tomatoes, bell peppers, sugar snap peas, celery sticks, grapes, apples, berries, banana, orange, melon, etc.
• Did I include whole grains? (gluten-free of course!)
• eg. quinoa, brown rice, brown rice pasta, gluten-free oats, buckwheat, sorghum, amaranth, etc.
• Add something fun!
• eg. no bake breakfast bars, energy balls, apple sandwiches, sandwich kabobs, etc. think creatively!
