JULY 2021 NEWSLETTER
July 8, 2021 | Issue 92
From Our President
Dear Council of 101 members,

I hope you are enjoying your summer. The Summer Luncheon Committee has planned a fabulous get-together for fellowship in the museum Rotunda among design elements of palm fronds and banana leaves reminiscent of Palm Beach resort lifestyle.  I hope you will be sure to come! This counts as one of your meeting requirements and it's a great way to get to know fellow 101 members a little better. It is also a fun event to bring a guest. We will have random drawings for some wonderful prizes and beautiful centerpieces to adorn the luncheon tables.

It may be summer, but lately, many of us seem to find ourselves delving into the holiday spirit and preparing for Sparkling Holiday Traditions -- the theme for this year's Festival of Trees. Envision senses of shimmering holiday elegance adorning the galleries that will be displaying fabulous art exhibits simultaneously with our designer decorated trees and vignettes. Many FOT committees are in full swing with their plans and things are going well! Festival information is being updated on the Council of 101 website and through social media. Think about which committee you would enjoy serving on and sign up at the Summer Luncheon.

Enjoy your summer with a new appreciation for freedom to travel, unmasked as your comfort level allows, at nearby beaches, to the mountains and locations abroad without lengthy quarantines or at home basking in a familiar staycation. Your board has a truly caring heart and believes that through all of the fund-raising efforts at the surface, it's our members and our dear friendships that matter the most. We couldn't possibly do what we do so well if we didn't have love for our friends which make up the Council of 101.

I look forward to seeing you all on July 22 at the Summer Luncheon.

With warmest regards,
Joan
