Important Information Regarding Judicial Assignments in the Probate & Family Court

Plymouth County Has a New First Justice
Effective May 1, 2014, Judge Edward G. Boyle, III, became the new First Justice of the Plymouth County Probate & Family Court replacing Judge Catherine P. Sabaitis who tendered her resignation as First Justice, but will continue to serve as an Associate Justice. This appointment will not affect any case assignments for either Judge Boyle and/or Judge Sabaitis.

 

Fifth Annual First Justices' Forum
On April 10, 2014, the fifth annual First Justices' Forum was held to honor the pro bono efforts of attorneys in Barnstable, Bristol, and Plymouth counties. Both Attorney Susan Castleton Ryan and Attorney Melaney Hodge were among many attorneys honored, and received Certificates of Appreciation for their commitment to pro bono representation within the probate & family courts.  Click here to read more.
