It's time for 2024 dues billing

The 2024 Annual Dues Billing for the Vail Board of REALTORS® is being sent this week - November 15th. Please watch your email for invoices.

Payment is due by Sunday, December 31st.

The Vail Board of REALTORS® does not have a dues increase. However, you will see increases with state and national dues.

Vail Board of REALTORS® Dues - $348

Colorado Association of REALTORS® - $195

National Association of REALTORS® - $156

NAR Consumer Awareness Assessment - $45

RPAC Voluntary Contribution - $25

VBR Foundation Voluntary Donation - $20

Total is $789 for VBR Realtors®.

The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) increased its dues by $6, and the Colorado Association of REALTORS® (CAR) increased its dues by $20. This is the first time that CAR has increased dues in almost a decade.

The NAR Consumer Awareness Assessment referred to in the chart pays for the national “That’s Who We R Campaign” promoting the value of using a REALTOR® to the consumer.

You are also encouraged to contribute (voluntary) to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee and the Vail Board of REALTORS® Foundation.

RPAC promotes the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates across the United States. Voluntary contributions made by REALTORS® are used to help elect candidates who understand and support the issues that are important to the real estate profession and livelihood.

Locally, the VBR Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting initiatives focused on creating attainable housing solutions for all, and works in collaboration with community organizations to cultivate housing opportunity for all Eagle County residents. It also provides assistance to our REALTOR® members in need.

The 2024 Annual Dues must be paid by December 31, 2023, to avoid late fees, and suspension or termination of membership. 

The two Voluntary Contributions (RPAC and VBRF) are completely voluntary and may be removed from the invoice when paid through the payment link on the invoice, or deducted from the amount if paid by check. However, we hope that you will consider supporting your industry and community by investing in both VBRF and RPAC.  

Please note that voluntary payments will be charged if you are on autopayment for Annual Dues billing. Autopayments will be applied by December 15.

Payments are not deductible as charitable contributions. However, such payments may be deductible as ordinary business expenses in accordance with IRS rules and regulations.

RPAC voluntary dues are not deductible as a business expense because this portion is used for lobbying or the support of candidates at the local, state and/or national levels.
