Friday, November 15: How To...Day

Curious about how to make a difference in our community? On this day, we’re sharing easy steps and options for anyone looking to get involved and learn more about impactful giving.

Visit us on our website and Facebook to learn how to: set up a fund in a loved one's name, create a field of interest fund, donate other than cash, get involved, or volunteer!

In celebration of National Family Literacy Month, we’re excited to invite you to a special site visit with the Family Reading Partnership! Come explore the impactful work of this incredible organization and see firsthand how they’re fostering a culture of literacy in our community.

The Family Reading Partnership works tirelessly to ensure that all children have access to books and develop a love for reading. Through programs that support families and engage our youngest community members, they’re helping to build brighter futures by empowering children with the gift of literacy. RSVP HERE!

Saturday, November 16:

DEI and CPR Day

At the Community Foundation, we proudly embrace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as fundamental pillars of our work!

Join us in our journey toward creating a more equitable society by listening to the "All Things Equal" show featuring our very own, Chief Equity and Community Engagement Officer, Gloria Coicou.

Gloria is a passionate advocate for cultural diversity and is dedicated to implementing DEI practices within our foundation.

This will be posted on Saturday!

Join us at 12pm for a hands-only CPR training session with the American Red Cross. What to expect...

  • “Hands-Only CPR is CPR without rescue breaths which is simple to learn and easy to remember, especially outside medical settings. It increases the likelihood of surviving cardiac arrest, when the heart stops beating or beats too ineffectively to circulate blood to the brain and other vital organs.”
  • This is not a certification course, but provides easy to remember hands-on training.
  • This training is approximately 30 minutes.
