Dear MMS families,

The dedicated staff at Mountaineer Montessori School has been hard at work preparing our school environments for the year ahead.  We look forward to seeing old and new friends as we enter our 41st year of providing authentic Montessori education in Charleston.

As the first days of school approach, I have a few announcements to share:

  • New and returning families need to login to RenWeb and fill out all school forms.  We are no longer using paper forms, with the exception of vaccination records.  Please see RenWeb Reminder at the bottom of this newsletter for instructions. If you experience any difficulties, please contact Beth.
  • M Gear will be available for purchase at the Ice Cream Social.  Order forms will also be available at Back to School nights.
  • If your child had art work on display at FestivALL, it is available for pick up.  Please stop by and see Beth in the office.
  • If your child will be staying for Plus, please reserve your spot by calling or emailing Beth at 304.342.7870 or [email protected]
  • If your child needs to take medication at school, you must bring the medication in to Beth (Primary and Elementary) or Bridgett (Middle School) and fill out the appropriate paperwork.  Please call Beth if you have any questions about medications at school.

RenWeb Reminder
Be sure to create your ParentsWeb account so you can access back-to-school forms and supplies lists. We will not be providing paper forms and lists this year and moving forward.


To create your ParentsWeb account:

  • From your laptop or desktop, go to: https://www.renweb.com/Logins/ParentsWeb-Login.aspx
  • Type the school’s District Code:   MM-WV
  • Click Create New ParentsWeb Account.
  • Type your email address and click Create Account.
  • An email will be sent which includes a link to create your ParentsWeb login. The link is active for 6 hours.
  • Select the Click to Create your ParentsWeb login link.
  • A web browser displays your Name and RenWeb Person ID.
  • Type a User Name, Password, and Confirm the password.
  • Click Save User Name and/or Password. A message displays at the top of the browser, “User Name/Password successfully updated.”
  • You may now log in to ParentsWeb using your new User Name and Password.


Once you have logged in, please access and complete/update the following forms through ParentsWeb.  All forms should be completed before August 14th:  

  • Family demographic form:  please check the form for completeness and accuracy
  • student medical form
  • custodial parent form(s)
  • transportation form
  • field trip form
  • consent for use of student images form
  • in lieu of transportation form

  Parents Web also contains the following Resource Documents:

  • Classroom supplies lists
  • WV Department of Health and Human Resources immunization requirements.  A complete and up-to-date immunization record must be signed by your physician and filed at school on or before August 14th.  
  • Plus Program information and supplies list
  • Strings letter
  • Arrival/Dismissal Procedures
  • Summer Assignments (Upper Elementary and Middle School)
  • Parent Handbook - including medication policy
