Our goal is to serve small business owners not eligible for traditional banking systems by offering access to capital and financial how-to assistance. Whether we assist you in skill or knowledge, loans, or other financial aid, McCIF can help your small business grow and prosper.

The People Behind McCIF

Andrea Barefield

Board Member

Andrea Barefield is a second-term Waco City Council Member representing District 1. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Public Relations. Andrea joined the Texas Brazos Trail Region, which is a part of the Texas Heritage Trails Program, where she currently holds the title of Executive Director, leading the program in educating, engaging, and promoting cultural and heritage tourism in the 18 counties of the region.

Eduardo Vazquez

Loan Program Director

 

Eduardo Vazquez serves as the Loan Program Director at McCIF. As a native Wacoan, he graduated McLennan Community College in 2016. He spent almost 12 years in the credit union world. Eduardo is an active member of the Dean Highland Neighborhood Association. He is also a passionate advocate of limb difference/disability awareness, thanks to his daughter, Elena.

His wife, Catelia, inspired him to be a part of a nonprofit organization and everyday he strives to make his family proud and looks forward to continue building his life here with his family.
