Summer Reading 2022 Games

This summer the Marlboro Free Library has three different reading activities to keep the family busy. The more you read, the more entries you'll earn towards our Summer Reading grand prize drawing!

Summer Reading for Adults

Adults! Explore what your local library has to offer with our Summer Reading Game! Try out BrainHQ, Hoopla, our Discover Marlboro app, and more for a chance to win a grand prize!

Check off each completed challenge, and return your game board to the Library by Wednesday, August 24.

Summer Reading for Teens

This summer we're taking "shelfies!" Draw or take a photo of all the books you've read this summer to fill out your log. Return your completed log to the Library by August 24, to receive a prize and be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a grand prize!

Summer Reading for Children

Stop by the Library and collect a summer reading tracking zebra! For every 15 minutes spent reading, add a stripe to your zebra. Return your log to the Library by August 24 to receive a prize and be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a grand prize!

Adopt a pet shell to read to all summer!

Stop by the Library to pick out and adopt a shell this summer! Take your pet shell home and read to it as much as possible, because a pet shell's favorite hobby is reading!

Fill up your reading logs with Book Bundles!

Next time you stop by the Library, visit our children's section and check out a book bundle! Our librarians have created themed book bundles to keep your little ones interested in reading. When returning your book bundle, be sure to stop by the circulation desk to receive an additional prize for each bundle read.

Explore the town with our scavanger hunt!

Collect your clue sheet from the Library. Each clue will take you to a local business in town. Collect all the clues and return your sheet to the Library by July 31 to receive a prize!

Continue the fun this summer with our new STEM kits!

Build, stargaze, and explore with the Library's new STEM kits! Created with a grant from Assemblymember Jonathan Jacobson, these kits allow children to explore science, technology, engineering, and math, at home, using exciting tools, toys, and books!
