Tomorrow begins today!

January 9, 2026

Dear Mountaineer Montessori School Families,

On behalf of the faculty, staff and board of directors, it is my pleasure to invite your family to return to Mountaineer Montessori School for the 2026-27 school year. We look forward to empowering the unique potential and inspiring the future of each child in our beautiful Montessori environments during the year ahead... and beyond.

It is truly an honor to have you as part of our special school community and we are grateful that you have chosen MMS as the educational home for your child.

Planning for the new year is already well underway. As part of our annual planning process, tuition for the coming school year has been adjusted to ensure Mountaineer Montessori School remains competitive in our market and able to meet rising operational costs, including our renewed lease at the Staunton Avenue campus. Full tuition details will be available in FACTS during the re-enrollment process, and we remain committed to transparency, fiscal responsibility, and supporting families whenever possible.

All returning MMS families must log into their FACTS Family Portal and complete the re-enrollment process by February 15, 2026.

Siblings of current students are granted priority enrollment during this time as well.

If you plan to enroll another child not currently attending MMS, please let us know by emailing Beth. Siblings of current MMS students will have priority enrollment until February 15. You may start an application for a new sibling any time.

Your prompt re-enrollment holds a space for your child and helps us meet staffing, training and facilities needs for all students in the year ahead. We do anticipate full classrooms for the 2026-27 school year.

A 5% tuition deposit must be paid upon enrollment. Please contact us as soon as possible if this is a concern for you.

From a desktop or laptop computer (not a mobile device), follow these steps to access and begin the process:

  • Go to www.factsmgt.com
  • Click "Log In Here" at the top right of the page.
  • Choose "Family Portal Login" in the "For Families" section.
  • Type in our district code (MM-WV), your username and password. If you have forgotten your username or password, please click on the link provided.
  • After logging in, click on the Apply/Enroll button in the left menu.
  • Click on the Enrollment/Re-enrollment button.

Please complete a new application for enrollment for new siblings (available from our website)

After February 15, we will offer remaining classroom spaces to new families. We have been meeting with prospective families continuously since September and anticipate full enrollment once again next year.

Because space is limited in all classes, we cannot guarantee that your child will have a place at MMS next year if we do not receive your materials by February 15.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. We look forward to welcoming new and returning families to MMS for our 50th year of excellence and innovation in education!

Sincerely,

Jennifer Carriger, M.A.

HOPE SCHOLARSHP

MMS is pleased to be an approved WV Hope Scholarship School. The scholarship allows qualifying K-12 students to receive financial assistance that can be used for private school tuition and other approved expenses.

The 2026-27 application portal for returning Hope students opened on January 5, and those students need to complete the continued participation confirmation process by June 15.

Applications for new students will open on March 2, 2026. New applications must be received by June 15 in order for your child to receive 100% of the HOPE Scholarship for the upcoming school year.

For the 2026-2027 school year, there is no longer a requirement for HOPE applicants to have been enrolled in a public school for any period of time. Therefore, all MMS students enrolled in kindergarten and up are eligible for HOPE funds, without a public school or virtual school requirement.

We encourage all families to keep themselves informed and plan ahead for the next school year by visiting the Hope website and signing up for email updates as the program continues to expand and evolve.
