You received your invoice in the amount of
$585
for your annual REALTOR® dues in mid-December. The local Association and the National Association of REALTORS® did not increase the dues amount for 2020, however, NC REALTORS® did vote to increase their portion of the dues by $20 per member for 2020. Therefore, the dues will be
$585
for the year. You are reminded of the bylaws regarding dues payment which states: “Section 3. Dues Payable. Membership dues for the calendar year are due on January 1, payable by January 31. Notice will be given on February 1 that the membership will be terminated on February 15 if payment is not received by that date.” You may pay your dues online through the
NAR IMS payment system
, with a personal check, money order, MasterCard, Visa or American Express. Please do not bring cash--we do not have change. PLEASE PAY ON TIME!!!!

Several years ago, a line item was added to your annual dues invoice for a voluntary contribution to RPAC. If paying with a corporate/company check, please do
NOT
include the RPAC amount on the check since RPAC cannot accept corporate money. Your contribution will gladly be accepted when written on your
personal check
. Thank you for your continued support of RPAC and the issues related to the real estate industry protected by these funds.

The Public Relations Committee is still collecting food in support of the Alms House who provides bags for hungry children in the community. They are collecting
Chef Boyardee microwavable pastas (
Beefaroni, Spaghetti & Meat Balls, and Beef Ravioli
)
. The Alms House prepares and distributes an average of 400 bags each week and the need is great. If you don’t have time to pick up the pastas, cash donations can also be made. If you bring a check, please make it out to the Alms House. With the cold weather here, the children will need our help even more, so please continue to support this project.

The deadline for dropping or adding agents is the
15th
of each month. Any notification received after that date will reflect on the next month’s billing.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
The MLS does not charge for new agents joining during the month, however, if the Association is not notified that an agent has left prior to billing, the company will be responsible for payment of the service fee for that agent.
