Newsletter for December, 2019
Here's what we did together this year:

We hosted book sales under the almond tree to benefit outreach and literacy programs.

We delivered chromebooks to 4 schools on Bequia. Shown here are students at the Lower Bay School with one of them.
We supported Kadeem in his dream of becoming a pilot. Last week he flew solo from North Bay to Killarney, Ontario, and back again. He took this picture:
We supported Gabby in her dream of becoming a chef. She made this:
We delivered 100 recorders to island schools ...

... and, with others, helped support the launch of We Choose , a program to raise awareness and build response to gender violence.
We helped plant a garden at the Sunshine School ...

... and sailed with the Junior Sailors ...

... and shared new ideas with teachers from every school on the island.
We celebrated the great contributions of lasting friends.

We delivered food hampers at Easter. And during the school year, we fed children food for the brain.

And we went to school.

We were thankful for all the people who gave funds and ideas ; for those who gave their time and offered their skills ; for the teachers who spent their days teaching others how to read, and to use their voices, and to dream even bigger dreams:
