Dear Friend of Morning Star,

More than 375 supporters heard international human rights activist Jason Jones call for greater protection for unborn children and their mothers at Morning Star Pregnancy Services annual Life Saving Banquet Thursday.

Filmmaker Jason Jones said expectant moms and their unborn children who come into Morning Star for help are among the most vulnerable people in the world.  He credited Morning Star staff and volunteers for working so hard to protect and assist them.

Morning Star Director Linda Plummer thanked all those who supported the banquet,  calling the event a great success which provides support for the vital ministry and inspiration to supporters.

"We're moving closer to our goal of $200,000," said Plummer. "and contributions are still coming in."

Plummer said more than $176,000 has been raised thus far, and supporters who did not make the banquet can contribute one-time and monthly payments online at the link below.
"We've been very successful in reaching abortion-vulnerable women and increasing ultrasounds from 299 in 2016 to 1,120 in 2018 ," added Plummer. "Those have allowed a record number of women to choose life for their children."

"Our goal is to reach even more women in need going forward. We've opened on Saturday mornings, and are hoping to open our Middletown office on Fridays. We need even greater support to accomplish that."

Plummer said early banquet results indicate the 2019 event will be the 2nd most successful banquet in Morning Star history,  but it could still become the MOST successful ever.

"The theme of this year's banquet
was  HOPE ,"  explained Plummer.
"and, as scripture tells us,
HOPE does not disappoint!"
