Thanks for joining us this past weekend on the NFJG TOUR! It was cold, but it was fun and a joy to see everyone! Hidden Hills is one
of the more tricky and demanding courses NFJG plays throughout the year. The Hills is truly a test for our great young players. Mix together tight fairways, constant elevations changes and pretty quick elevated greens and the kids had all they needed and had their work cut out for them. To add to the difficulty, the seemingly favorable forecast took an unexpected turn towards the lesser favorable side with a dreary, chilly and cloudy day. The temperature hovered around the sixty-degree mark most of the day instead of the mid seventies, as expected. Based on the favorable predictions, there were many participants (and spectators) in shorts and short sleeve shirts scrambling for anything they could find to keep warm. Many thanks to the staff for sharing their outerwear keeping our spectators and players warm. Also many thanks to the Staff at Hidden Hills for their Professional services. The course was in great shape. Luckily we got it all in before the sun set and the moon came out, although we most likely could have played some good night golf with the SUPER MOON looking down upon us.
If you hadn't noticed this year, the NFJG Foundation and TOUR is giving out numerous incentives to help our kids play higher level golf and special activities while playing on the NFJG TOUR. This incentives list is updated on monthly basis, so continue to review, so you don't miss out of some great opportunities. Click on the INCENTIVES link above. At the "Open at the Hills" two more players earned fully paid exemptions to the "Len's Friend's" Golf Tournament.
See you on the Links!
