Elegant surroundings, special guest speakers, and delicious food made for an engaging event at Yachad's "Step Back in Time," fall fundraiser at the historic Art Deco
apartment building in the District of Columbia.
Guests enjoyed appetizers by
catering and the nostalgic
bee's knees cocktail
in the elegant and original 1930's, The Kennedy-Warren Club.
The evening's program was headlined by Benjamin Underwood, of
B. F. Saul Company
, the building owner since 1935, and Graham Davidson, of
, the architect who led the building’s expansion and renovation. The speakers offered fascinating insights into the property's history and redevelopment, including how to replicate the original brick formation and color. It wasn't easy!
We thank everyone who joined us for this unique evening and those who supported our work with a donation.
