Community Resource Day
B altimore is full of people and organizations ready to help you buy a home, find a job, or support your business. Community Resource Day is a great way to get in touch with them. St. Ambrose will have representatives from our Rental Services, Counseling Services, and Homesharing department there to talk to you. Come find us and say hello!
The Community Development Network in Maryland is celebrating the amazing work done by community action agencies all over the state. We caught up with some great organizations, and learned about exciting projects. There are a lot of events going on through Friday, September 29th. Check them out, you never know who you might run into!

On the front lines of the
Foreclosure Crisis
In response to the foreclosure crisis in 2006, the federal government established a HOPE Hotline where homeowners could call for advice about their loan payment options. St. Ambrose was one of the many organizations prepared to help some of the 2 million homeowners whose adjustable rate mortgages were making it difficult to keep their home.
