Welcome back from Spring Break! We hope that you had an enjoyable week off and that you are feeling re-energized for all of the exciting Spring activities! We have several special school traditions coming up, so be sure to read our communications, including The Item, email blasts, room parent emails and IG, for all of the scoop!

Family Bingo Night is Thursday, April 6!
Join us for a fun night of Family Bingo in the HW gymnasium on Thursday, April 6 from 5PM-6:30PM.
We will be serving pizza and water. Please RSVP HERE and bring a $10 donation if your family plans to eat pizza. Please also bring a new or like-new book (appropriate for grades K-4) for each child participating to exchange as bingo prizes.

Join us for a fun evening of Math games and challenges facilitated by HW teachers and staff on Wednesday, April 12.

Many congratulations to the nominees! The election of the officers will take place on Wednesday, April 5 at 9:00 am during the monthly PTO Exec. Board meeting. All PTO members (which means all HWS parents who paid their PTO dues at the start of the year) are welcome to join this regular monthly meeting of the Exec. Board. If you are interested in attending the meeting to participate in the vote, please reach out to Hubbard Woods PTO for meeting location and details.

Save the Date - Mayfest 2023
Please mark your calendars for Mayfest, scheduled for Sunday, May 21, 2023!
Mayfest is the biggest blacktop extravaganza of the school year and our annual carnival-themed fundraiser. Mayfest is a 40+ year tradition featuring rides, games, and an exciting raffle.

We need your help!
As Hubbard Woods School gets ready for a summer of construction and improvements, teachers will need support in a variety of ways. Please use the Google form to sign up to volunteer. More details to follow in coming weeks.

There will be a HWS neighbors construction information meeting with Pepper Construction on Wednesday, April 19. Construction updates will soon be available on the District website.

Please Vote! District 36 School Board Seats up for Election
District 36 will have four school board seats to be filled at the April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election. Candidates who are elected will fill four-year terms expiring in April 2027. Please remember to vote!
