For Sunday's fiestas, there's more than enough Mexican beers here to go around plus some delicious Mexican bubbles and a crisp refreshing white blend, both from Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California.
Margaritas on the menu? We have all you need to make your own: shake 1 1/2oz tequila, 3/4oz lime juice, 3/4oz cointreau (or other orange liqueur), 1/4oz agave syrup, and pour over ice. .. or just pick up a mix, that's easy too.
and we have the usual assortment of Mexican beers!!
We are still finalizing the line up and we PROMISE you that they will be great bottles of wine. Please check our facebook post Friday at Noon.
and Yes, there will be a secret sipper on both days!

Saturday's Tasting: 3PM UNTIL 7PM

Dave's :

Ottella 'Le Creete', Lugana, 2017 $21.99

Spring wine picks phase two: This smile inducing, warm weather white hits hard with a one-two punch of ripe orchard fruits in the mid palate and zesty citrus in the finish. Long thought to be a clone of Trebbiano, the grape here is actually Verdicchio but it's Verdicchio taken to the heights of expressiveness. The 'Le Creete' bottling comes from a small plot of chalky soil. Intensity and precision are achieved through a late, hand harvest and some brief skin contact. I officially declare it pool and patio ready.

Doug's :

Chateau Thivin Cote de Brouilly, Beaujolais 2017, $33.99

Every month our Beaujolais section seems to grow just a little bit wider and just little bit deeper and since it is one of my favorite regions, I'd like to thank all of you who are buying this juice and making this happen. This Cote de Brouilly is structured with bright acid and sharp minerality while still being highly aromatic, singing with the aromas of violets and cherries. This is an age worthy wine and with a bit of a decant can become very expressive.

Patrick's :

La Rioja Alta, Vina Alberdi, Reserva 2013, $24.99

This 2013 Rioja opens with clean and bright aromas of wild berries that lead to flavor notes of vanilla, toasted caramel, and ground coffee beans, supported by friendly tannins for a long finish. This is a real bargain for a reserva from the very desirable Rioja Alta. From 3 of their vineyards, the Tempranillo grapes are hand-picked and gently aged for 2 years in American oak.
A very versatile wine for food pairing, I'd match this with BBQ pork ribs grilled lakeside!

Madison's :

Dominio di Bagnoli, Friularo di Bagnoli Classico 2015, $25.99

Usually just a few things come to mind when we think of the Veneto: pinot grigio, Prosecco, Valpolicella, Amarone. One of the wonderful (and headachingly complex) things about Italy is that there are stones to be upturned everywhere. Dominio di Bagnoli is the producer, specializing in the Friularo grape, which is also known as Rabaso Piave. This is obscure and delicious.. red fruit, abundant spice, a trace of salinity from the nearby Adriatic, with finely balanced acid and tannin.

Quin's :

Jim Barry 'The Cover Drive; Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawara, 2015
With a name referencing the historic cricket grounds upon which the vineyards are planted, this classic South Australian Cab is made with simple winemaking methods that let the terroir shine. Aromas of dark fruit and savory herbs are complimented by a palate highlighted by blackberry and tobacco. Medium-full body, lifted acidity, and firm tannins complete the package. Ideal paired with grilling season and nights around a campfire.
