In addition to the flags of the United States and Alabama, we will also be raising the Air Force flag to celebrate the birthday of the U.S. Air Force on September 18. All members of our school community who are currently serving or have served in the Air Force are encourage to join us for the flag-raising and the singing of U.S. Air Force song.

Be on the lookout for 1st semester surveys!

First semester parent surveys will be sent home on Thursday, October 1. They must be completed by the end of the school day on Thursday, October 15.

There will be two surveys: one for parents of Elementary School (K-5) students, another for parents of Middle School (6-7) students. Please complete the survey appropriate to your child's grade level. If you have students in both schools, complete both surveys. Please complete each survey only once!

Living Timeline Day

Our annual Living Timeline Day will be held on Friday, October 30. Parents are invited to join us at 9:00 am for the singing of the World Timeline Song.

Students are encouraged to dress up according to the period they study in world history. Examples of Living Timeline Day costumes by grade level are below. Your child's teacher will be reaching out with more details soon.

October is the Month of Justice at ICA

“I WILL TREAT EVERYONE WITH THE FAIRNESS AND RESPECT THEY DESERVE.”

Justice is a moral principle that involves giving each person their due or what they deserve. Justice emphasizes principles of fairness, rights, social utility, and the promotion of the common good. It is a foundational concept in moral and political philosophy, serving as a guiding principle for the organization of societies and the regulation of human conduct.
