Good balance depends on many factors, one of them being strength.
Below are a set of exercises to help improve muscles for rising out of a chair, standing, stair climbing, pushing off for walking and general posture.
Perform 2-3 sets of each exercise for 8-12 repetitions with the exception of the plank which you will perform 3 times working your way up to a 30 sec hold. Rest 30 secs in between exercises and up to 1 minute between sets.

- Sit to Stand orSquats
- Modified PlankorStandard Elbow Plank
- Bird Dog
- Hip Abduction
- Heel raises
