Mobile Bottling Success
Nearly 2500 cases of wine bottled in just two days!!! It's almost hard to believe ourselves, but on February 18th and 19th, 2016 we witnessed with our own eyes this extremely efficient mode of bottling. With nearly a palette of wine (56 cases) completed (filled, labeled, capped/corked and boxed) every 15 minutes, we were amazed by this bottling beast!
Local bottling company, Casteel Custom Bottling, provided "The Silver Bullet" (as it is affectionately referred to by some). This state-of-the art custom built trailer, with an aluminum frame and stainless steel interior contained an entire bottling line . It has a short-body trailer that provided easy access to our winery facilities. One of its greatest features is the custom "concession doors" that increases air flow for the bottling crew, and accessibility to machines. Josh and Nick were our Casteel Team Leaders and they did an incredible job managing the J Wrigley Crew.
We are so grateful to everyone who gave a helping hand during this event. Success all the way around!!

New Website Launch:
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new website...scheduled for April 4th, 2016. This project has been a work in progress for some time and it's so exciting to finally be on the cusp of its debut!
As with all new websites, the desire is to create a more accurate image of who we are and what we're about, as well as be as user friendly as possible - whether you are at your laptop at work, or on your mobile device on vacation. We believe this updated image will be a true reflection of the J Wrigley brand and family AND easy to navigate as well!

Gene and I first met Jody years ago at an AVA tasting in a large
warehouse with about 24 other wineries jockeying for space. We liked
the Wrigley wines then-and we followed her to a small tasting room in
Carlton-and finally to the tasting room she and John built on the hill in
Sheridan. All along the way-from the roughed out building with no
walls to the comfortable, warm and inviting facility we enjoy today. Jody
and John, along with Sharon, Tina, and now Melissa, have
provided hospitality, friendship, a welcoming atmosphere-and most of
all, wonderful wines and food.
We were, I think, the first customers to discover what wonderful cooks
Jody and Sharon are. One of their first winery lunches was for us.
After that, they cooked for several more-including my birthday
luncheon last January. Sharon's chicken pate should be designated a
national dish. We have attended several of their Soup Fridays since
then-each one has been a special experience in flavors, unique
combinations, and just plain old goodness. Along with the homemade
bread, we can't think of a better way to spend a Friday afternoon than
with the crew at Wrigley's tasting room-a glass of the Proposal Block,
a bit of bread, and soup beside us in the tasting room. - Lynda Corbin

April 17th - PaintNite (afternoon) Returns to the Vineyard
- If you haven't joined us for a paint "class" at the vineyard yet, you must get your tickets for this one!
Just grab your wine glass, paint brush and friends for this fun afternoon. Hosted by a talented PaintNite artist, you'll be given step by step instructions in creating a beautiful tulip spring landscape (picture shown). Always a great time had by all. No artistic talent required, just a positive attitude and the ability to enjoy wine and friends. Limited seating, so get your tickets before they're gone!

2015 Estate Riesling ~ $22
Our estate Riesling is always a show-stopper! Notes of pineapple, mango and cloves make this year's Riesling perhaps our very best. Just a touch of sweetness with nice acidity on the finish.
2014 Estate Chardonnay ~ $32
Introducing the very first vintage from our Acceptance Block. Full of golden apple and pear, this Chardonnay has just the right amount of body and acidity. Aged in neutral oak. Due to very small quantity, only available to club members. 2 bottle limit. No discounts applied.
2015 Rosé of Pinot Noir ~ $22
Made with 100% Pinot Noir, this year's Rosé is beautifully balanced in sweetness and crispness. Think ripe strawberries, white peaches and cotton candy, with just the right amount of acidity. The perfect summer picnic or patio sipping wine!
2014 "Mac" Cuvée Pinot Noir ~ $28
Our 2014 "Mac" is a stunning reflection of the McMinnville AVA's uniqueness in producing deeper, bolder Pinot Noirs. Aged in neutral oak the fruit takes front stage. Notes of plum, raspberry and black pepper make this Pinot absolutely luscious.
2014 Estate Pinot Noir ~ $38
Introducing a new tier of J Wrigley Pinot Noir, our 2014 Estate Pinot Noir (separate from Proposal Block) showcases the best of our vineyard. Pommard and Dijon clones, aged with a touch of oak. Blueberry and blackberry notes emerge in this year's vintage, with a deep savory and earthy component that provides just the right amount of complexity.
2013 Proposal Block Pinot Noir ~ $45
Raspberries and earth overwhelm your senses on the first notes. J Wrigley's signature Pommard clone is present all the way through. Elegant and complex with a nice tannin structure, this Pinot will age gracefully. Drink now and optimally over the next 10 to 12 years.
