First Stock Market Challenge was a Success!
Buy! Sell! Nearly 100 students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School School participated in a Stock Market Challenge on April 14th.

It was hectic, loud, exciting and filled with energy event. Student teams were given $500K in imitation currency before the challenge began. The currency was used to make their initial stock selections from more than 25 fictitious companies. At the end of the challenge, the team with the highest net worth stock portfolio won!

Special thanks to Emcee Erik Sussman, Institute of Financial Wellness, guest speaker David Greenberg, Greenberg Capital LLC, and our volunteer floor traders who helped the students with trading decisions.

South Florida Businesses...Time To Hire Our Interns!
"As a business owner, I highly recommend bringing on an intern from Junior Achievement. Not only can it change the life of a young adult about to enter the real world, but it can greatly benefit your own organization and the people that work for you. It sure helped my own team, and also taught them the importance of giving back and paying it forward." - Bill Feinberg, Allied Kitchen & Bath

You need a pipeline of skilled employees. JA has enthusiastic and trained interns ready to go. Let’s work together to build our workforce.
