New Branding!
We are so excited to share with you our updated Junior Achievement branding! JA's new brand symbol honors our long and impactful history while moving us into the future. We are thrilled to share our updated JA JobSpark logo for Year 7 to match JA's new branding and colors- just in time for back to in-person!
JA JobSpark 2022 - Back to In-Person & Impact
If you haven't had the chance, be sure to check out our 2019 JA JobSpark Highlights video for a glimpse of our last in-person event. We are so excited to be back in person and are looking forward to all our volunteers providing hands-on experiences and interacting with your students to share their career experiences. The energy is incredible!
Co-Chair Highlight
For the past two months, we have been so excited to meet IN-PERSON with all our amazing Co-Chairs! These wonderful colleagues are the leaders of each of the 8 clusters who work all through the year to plan for JA JobSpark. In these meetings we discuss what companies will be participating, what experiences will be at the event, floorplans, materials & resources, volunteer recruitment, and more! We are so thankful for their expertise and help, we couldn't do it without them!
Educator Info Session Recap
On May 18th, we had a virtual JA JobSpark Educator Info Session where we met with a representative from each of the schools that will be attending JA JobSpark in September. Always so fun to touch base with everyone! We gave a recap of last year's event, and discussed important information that will be needed when you all return from summer break in the fall. If you were not at the educator info session, be sure to contact your school's counselor or building coordinator if you will be teaching the curriculum or attending JA JobSpark in September so they can share all necessary information with you.

JA EduSpark!
We are excited to bring back in-person JA EduSpark opportunities in 2022!

The JA EduSpark Industry Tour is way to inform educators about careers in-demand and provide them with a first-hand look into local companies so they can share their experiences with students and help connect academics to the real world of work. We have held a few of these Industry Tours at Roche, Salesforce, Republic Airways/LIFT Academy and IKORCC and virtually at Ed Martin Automotive, Stoops Freightliner, Paul Mitchell the School and at Victory Field. They were all very well attended/received (filling up to capacity and in some cases with a waiting list).  We are currently working on planning our next JAES Industry Tour for end of summer (late July). Stay tuned for more information! If you'd like to learn more about JA EduSpark, please feel free to reach out to Cindy Kicinski at cindyk@jaindy.org.
