And the winner is...
Junior Achievement of Central Indiana has chosen 8 lucky winners from those students who successfully completed and turned in their passports at JA JobSpark. Our winners represented all different schools and districts. We have had a great time delivering the prizes sponsored and donated by Microsoft, St. Vincent, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and Roche Indianapolis. Thank you for providing great prizes for our student winners!

Student Experience
Prior to attending JA JobSpark, students participated in a career-readiness curriculum created by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and facilitated by classroom teachers.

At the event students learned about skills needed for jobs that will be in demand when they graduate though hands-on experiences in eight career clusters.

Students began the JA JobSpark experience with mostly abstract notions and left the event with real insights on the industries that interest them, what specific jobs are like and the education that is required to be successful in those jobs.

Thanks again to IN-MaC for sponsoring all of the student curriculum this past year!
Volunteer Spotlight

Name: Michelle Plummer
Title: Food Service and Retail Manager
Company Name: American Dairy Association Indiana Inc.
Cluster: Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources

"This was our third year participating in JA JobSpark. We continue to see value in students learning where their food comes from, and how the careers that help get the food on plates in the over 300 various jobs relate to Agriculture. We provided a cow and calf as an education piece and then milk to the students. This is a treat for the students and they seem to really enjoy gaining the full experience."
Happy Thanksgiving!
From all of us at Junior Achievement and Team JA JobSpark, we hope you have a relaxing holiday with your friends and family as we head into a holiday week. Gobble Gobble!
