JA Hosts Joint Press Conference with Chairwoman Nora Vargas on Youth Empowerment Initiative

JA San Diego launched the Summer Youth Employment Program under the Youth Empowerment Initiative of County Supervisor and Chairwoman Nora Vargas. The program will connect 150+ high school students to paid work experiences with leading San Diego industries.

JA Summer Camps are in full swing! We are excited to partner with our school districts and community partners including Chula Vista Elementary School District, Escondido Unified School District, and San Diego Unified and Level Up SD to offer JA experiences to their students this summer.

PowerUp Games Visits Washington DC for National Student Leadership Summit

Canyon Crest Academy students and founders of Workout Wars attended the National Leadership Summit in Washington DC this month. They had the opportunity to present their company to policymakers and business leaders and connect with youth entrepreneurs from across the country.

Become a JA Volunteer Mentor
