Osceola 9th Graders' Case Challenge: How can Walt Disney World engage broader community conservation by inspiring young people to take action for nature in their communities?
Core Competency: Engaging Communication
Thanks to Disney's partnership in and outside the classroom, 3DE by Junior Achievement launched The Walt Disney Company case challenge with our Osceola High 9th graders last week. Disney’s Conservation Program Manager and Research Assistants led an amazing session – students participated in activities and discussions that support their development of 3DE's focus core competency, Engaging Communication.
These ambitious youngsters will be spending the next few weeks working in their teams to collaboratively create a communication plan focused on inspiring environmental awareness and strategic conservation efforts among their peers and community.
