SATURDAY CONVERSATIONS

MARCH 22, 2025

10:00 am – 12:00 pm EST

Dr. James Fidelibus

Jungian Analyst

In Person Only

1550 Old Henderson Road, Room 131 (North Entrance which is in the back)

What an amazing get together on February 8! Familiar faces and new faces and wonderful conversation.  So, we are going to keep doing this. And we will mix it up a bit to keep it interesting and engaging for everyone. Our next get together will be Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – Noon. The “seed” of our conversation will be our Bauza Program to be held on March 15th.  Did you like it? Did you not? What were your take aways? How can you apply what you learned while on your path to wholeness? Dr. Jim Fidelibus, one of our Board members and a Jungian analyst, will lead us in our conversation.  You do not need to have attended the Bauza lecture to join us. Conversation and community are our main focus.

No registration is required.

INTRODUCTION TO OUR BAUZA PROGRAM

Our sincere apologies but, due to a variety of issues, we have CANCELLED this program. Ultimately, we felt that a post-program discussing Dr. Bedi’s ideas might be of more value than teeing it up before the lecture.

9th ANNUAL BAUZA LECTURE

The Spiritual Paradox of Addiction

March 15, 2025

9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

[The Ides of March]

Ashok Bedi, M.D., Jungian Analyst

Zoom Only BUT we can Zoom together at Old Henderson Road

A reminder that our Bauza Lecture – our 9th —takes place on March 15th and will be presented by Dr. Ashok Bedi, a Jungian analyst and board-certified psychiatrist. He will be exploring the question of what behaviors other than addictive ones can be used to attain connection with creative consciousness. You can check out our Web Page for more details or read our January Newsletter.

Although this program is by Zoom, it does not mean you have to watch it at home. You now have 2 options. Based upon several requests, we have decided to also have a Viewing Party and show it on the “big screen” in the Conference Room at 1550 Old Henderson Road (back entrance). So, if you are interested in stepping outside of your home, we would love to have you join us.

VOLUNTEERS

Our programs and activities continue to grow. This year we will be presenting our annual Bauza and Bollingen lectures, the Tarot Workshop, and several other programs (stay tuned). In addition, our Book Club continues to grow, and we have restarted our Saturday Conversations. We have also been receiving some amazing book donations for our Library. We love doing this, but we could truly use some help. If you would like to explore becoming more involved, please reach out to Stephen Weed, our Office Manager, at sweed@jungcentralohio.org, or give us a call at 614.291.8050.

ODD DONATION REQUEST

Do you happen to have a nice coffee maker with a carafe that needs a good home? Since we are doing more programs in the Conference Room at Old Henderson Road, we need to do a bit of re-equipping with respect to set up. Before we went out and bought one, we thought we would check with you first. If you do, we would love to hear from you. You can contact us at jungaco@jungcentralohio.org OR sweed@jungcentralohio.org.

REMINDERS

TAROT WORKSHOP

The 2025 Tarot Workshop has been an amazing success. The combination of lecture and comprehensive handouts has brought the Tarot alive for many of us. The last workshop is scheduled for February 18. This program will focus on the Minor Arcana’s Court Cards. If you sign up for a class, you also have the ability to obtain a recording of the program.

BOOK CLUB - February 16 and 23

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel the February 9th Book Club discussing David Miller’s, “The New Polytheism: Rebirth of Gods & Goddesses” led by Board member Mary Marx. We have rescheduled it for February 16th with the final get together on February 23, 2025. Mary has provided hand outs that help with our exploration. This means that even if you were unable to join us for our first two meetings, we would love to have you join us for the next two.
