Let’s always be praying for our nation and ask the Lord for unity, love and joy to pervade the land. And let’s keep praying for the global entertainment industry. We are the only known network of prayer warriors across the globe who are uniquely focused on inviting the Lord into the lives of creative professionals in every discipline, genre, city and project both in Hollywood and around the world.

THE BRILLIANCE OF MUSICIAN JACOB COLLIER
We thank the Lord for the incredible talent He gives to people who use it to bring joy to the world. This week we are praising God for an unbelievable British musician/singer Jacob Collier. At 19 years old Jacob started recording his own arrangements of songs he loved and posted them on YouTube. He soon got discovered by some of the greatest musicians of our time, including Quincy Jones. Now, 12 years later, Jacob performs all over the world to sold-out audiences. He is so otherworldly talented that we want to celebrate him this week. All of his talent comes from God, so in enjoying Jacob we are honoring his Creator. Here is his first posted song in which he performed all the harmonies, instruments and arrangements himself, and hesitantly posted it on YouTube with his mother’s encouragement. “Don’t You Worry About a Thing”...

STUNTWOMAN BRENDA GARCIA LOVES JESUS
We want to praise God for our friend and HPN member Brenda Garcia, who was just highlighted in Voyage LA Magazine. Brenda opens up about her unconventional path from aspiring journalist to Hollywood stuntwoman, Army National Guard soldier, and faith-driven creative. Her story is one of resilience, purpose, service, and trusting God through every unexpected chapter. Let's pray for Brenda and her continued impact on everyone she works with. Be encouraged that there are solid believers in all areas of the entertainment industry who are excellent at their craft and who share the love of Jesus along the way.

We want to celebrate another friend and HPN member, Cassandra Hepburn, who is combining her creative gifts with her wealth strategy passion in Hollywood. She is unbending in her love for others and her faith in God and her work. As she acts and uses her financial gifts, we thank the Lord that her work, ministry and her love for the Lord are inseparable.

LA’s MASS EXODUS OF PRODUCTIONS IS STILL AN ISSUE
We have to keep praying for the lack of production work in our city and our state. We continue to say good-bye to amazing Christian industry professionals who are moving away to find work in other cities. It’s so bad that we are asking the Lord to intervene in the decisions of our local and state leaders who can give us more tax incentives, tax credits and more work. We believe only the hand of God can turn this around, but with God, ALL things are possible!

ICONIC PRODUCER JAMES BURROWS DIES
On June 19th Hollywood lost one of its biggest names in comedy. James Burrows, one of our industry’s best known multi-camera directors passed away at the age of 85. James was known for his work as Director on Cheers, and co-creator of Taxi, Friends, Frasier, Will & Grace, Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory. Let’s pray both for his family and friends who are grieving his loss, and also for the Lord to bring other talented comedians to Hollywood. May we see an influx of professional Christians who are funny, creative and influential in our world. Our nation needs to laugh more, and comedy is a powerful and unifying art form.

BRITAIN BANS SOCIAL MEDIA ON CELL PHONES FOR CHILDREN UNDER 16
Last week British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced a full social media ban for children younger than 16 across the UK. He said he expected it to become law within a year because children need a safer, more secure environment to live in, and social media is not offering that. This is radical for a government to control cell phones and the internet. Let’s pray that the world can learn from this move and take steps to protect our children from isolation, on-line bullying, addiction to social media and suicide. As we plan our course, may the Lord determine our steps!

WHY CHRISTIANS SHOULD BE ON THE FOREFRONT OF AI
On June 22nd, Google announced that they were investing $75 million in the independent studio A24. That is the first time that a tech company has invested significant money into a studio - and not even a major studio. Tech and cultural media have blurred lines and it’s the time for Christians to be more actively a part of the narrative. HPN has good news: We know of quite a few prominent Christians who are respected leaders in the AI space. But we need more. Read this fascinating article and please be praying that more Christians are on the forefront of AI, the world’s newest technology.

MrBeast recently became the first creator in history to surpass 500 million YouTube subscribers, and he employs over 500 people within his company, giving him unprecedented influence over a global audience. As his platform, business ventures, and public profile continue to grow, let's pray that God would surround him with wise, godly counsel and grant him humility, discernment, and integrity in every decision. Pray that he would know that his identity is found not in success, public acclaim, or followers, but in Christ, and that his influence would be used to bring hope and truth to millions. As singer Donna Summer's grandmother wisely reminded her, "Just remember, God was the only one meant to get the glory!

In honor of America's 250th year, HPN member, Beau Davidson celebrates our nation as a blessing from God.
