Kingdom Greetings,
There is not a day that goes by that I do not need my Heavenly Father. I need him to breathe, eat, think, and function. There were times I've needed Him so much that I'd wished He was physically here so I could touch him. Especially during those moments when I was going through what looked to be a really hard test or those midnight hours when saying a prayer was not enough, or hearing words of encouragement rolling my way, seem to be falling on death ears. My tears would not stop flowing, and the pain I was feeling seemed to have taken up residence and would not leave.
It was during these times I came to understand this was something self could not handle nor fix. I had to solely rely on Christ, his spiritual contact, presence and comfort. Putting my complete trust in Him to do what my flesh nor others were incapable of doing.
(Isaiah 41:10: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”)
No matter what you need of Him, if it’s covering you, consoling you, shielding you, guiding you, speaking words of inspiration into you, lifting you up, healing or restoring you, He’s able to do exceedingly and abundantly all the above and more.
The Lord knew during these seasons of vulnerability, the enemy would rear his ugly head. That is why he equipped us for such a time.
(1John 4 But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.)
Remember, no matter what you are facing, you are not alone, you are equipped, and this too shall pass. Open your arms, mouth and heart in surrender and turn it all over to the great comforter, the Prince of Peace.
(John 16:33: “I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.”)
