JAG-K Adds Additional Programs, Looks to Serve Record Number of Students in New School Year

A new school year always brings a fresh start and new opportunities. For JAG-K, that means new staff, new students and new programs!

Thanks to support from government, corporate and private donors and workforce partners, the staff of JAG-K continues to increase its impact across the state of Kansas! We anticipate serving 6,200 students across the state in the new school year.

For the 2024-2025 school year, we are excited to announce the opening of four new programs - Ulysses High School, Buhler High School, Circle High School and Russell Middle School.

As in every year, we look forward to partnering with school faculty and staff across Kansas to accomplish the mission of preparing students for successful futures. We couldn’t do it without the dedication and support from our employees and partners. Thank you for helping JAG-K and the students we serve succeed.

For the tenth consecutive year, the JAG national organization announced that the Kansas affiliate earned the organization's highest award for achievement.

Emporia High Senior Serves as President of JAG-K Student Organization

Emporia High School senior Kameron Welch returned to school this fall with a big responsibility before him. Welch is president of the JAG-K Career Association, an affiliation of participants in the program statewide.

JAG-K Student Interns with City of Russell

The Russell City Council approved moving forward with a Russell Youth Council following a presentation by City Intern Astral Jennings and Deputy City Manager Kayla Schneider.
