JAG-K Celebrates 10 Years in Style

The JAG-K Soirée at Townsite Plaza on Nov. 18 was truly a remarkable celebration. The night was designed to recognize the efforts of so many people who have contributed to the work of JAG-K over its 10 years of existence.

We heard from Amb. Sam Brownback, the governor who brought JAG to Kansas 10 years ago, and from Gov. Laura Kelly, a current member of the JAG national board. We recognized legislative leaders and board members who provide direction to the organization and celebrated the contributions of our many donors and sponsors.

Additionally, we heard from students impacted by the program and honored staff from throughout the years. We paid a special tribute to three staff members – Michael Munoz, Connor Phillips and Anna Silva – who have been with JAG-K since its inception.

A special salute is due to our three “Soirée Sponsors,” ADM, Delta Dental and Key Staffing, as well as the other individuals and organizations who provided funding for the event.

It’s been a remarkable 10 years. Thank you all for making the JAG-K Soirée a special night of celebration.
