CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS KEEP COMING IN JAMAICA

Pastor Anderson traveled to an area in great need and provided Christmas for the children to encourage the families.

Pastor Oral Anderson has been a rich blessing to the people of all the area around Montego Bay, Jamaica. He has worked very hard with families to provide building materials through the financial support of ORH. Currently, he is compiling needs of people in Jamaica.

It is so easy to see Jamaica for its tourism and to believe all benefit from this. The truth is that Jamaica is predominately made of working people getting by, day by day. Brother Anderson has proven himself faithful to help because these people have lost much. Pray for him.

ORH asked him to help a village with the Christmas season, and ORH would provide the funds to do the ministry to the village.

Pastor Anderson wrote, "The Christmas Treat was a great blessing! Here are some photos.".

The videos will give you an idea of how the children and families enjoyed their Christmas Treat.

Pastor Nathan gave up his Christmas with family to prepare Christmas dinner in Westmoreland.

Another pastor who has shown great love for his people is Pastor Winston Nathan. Pastor Nathan lives in Mandeville and has helped all who have come into his knowledge. For Christmas, he left his home in Mandeville and traveled to Westmorland.

ORH also asked him to provide Christmas for families. As usual with Pastor Nathan, he became very creative.

He wrote ORH about his Christmas efforts.

"I went to one of the areas badly affected to cook and give these people a Christmas dinner

This is one of the devasted areas. We decided to make and give them a Merry Christmas instead In doing this we are also giving them the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our call is for Christ likeness

I rather be here and gave them the gospel.

Pray as many of them are in great need of Tarpaulins and a solar light. The devastation is real no way soon will they be getting back power."

The circumstances are certainly difficult, but thank God the Church cares and works to be God's solution to a terrible situation.

Prayier makes difficult things so much easier.

With their hearts they are helping their people and giving them the Gospel. ORH thanks all who help us to provide for the Church to be salt and light in Jamaica.

KERRVILLE FLOOD STILL ACTIVE

Note from Ken and Cindy Collier

Sometimes the blessings are so sweet that guilt becomes a problem. It's like having double frosting on a delicious cupcake.

Ken and Cindy Collier lost their home in the flooding waters of the Guadelupe River near Kerrville, TX. In the adjacent pictures the destruction of their home is obvious.

Pastor Edgar Thierbach worked as the ORH representative in the flooded area. Through his work ORH was able to help them financially just weeks after the flood.

Cindy's kitchen destroyed.

Pastor Thierbach wrote the following when he sent us this Thank You note:

"This is from Ken and Cindy Collier, whom we helped with initial flood relief back in July. This is the family that realized their home had been lifted off the foundation and was moving with the swift current. They stood in the living and prayed for God's mercy and protection. Within minutes their home struck something metallic and was trapped against a large cistern and the embankment. Others on 4 wheelers heard the sound of twisting metal and were able to get to them before their mobile home broke completely apart."

Mrs. Collier asked if ORH could once again help financially to finish restoring their home. Through Pastor Thierbach's direction ORH provided $3000.

The note from Ken and Cindy is the double frosting on the delicious cupcake!

Thank you!
