Scientists have hired a magician to show magic to animals to see how they react. I loved the article, as it also show's the point of view of the magician and how this can be a (daunting) and very challenging task.

The European Champions of Magic is held before FISM every year to determine (in part) who goes to FISM from Europe.

It was held from the 23rd to the 26th of May and Chris Ramsay was invited to participate as a host (and vlog about it).
