Thomas Martin, MD received a grant of nearly $4.6 million from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) to produce a CAR T cell therapy for multiple myeloma. Read more.


Eunice Lopez Fuentes, PhD, a postdoc in Sweet-Cordero Lab, was awarded a 2024 Childhood Cancer Research Grant from The Pablove Foundation for research on novel combination therapies in osteosarcoma.


Atul Butte, MD, PhD will receive the PMWC Pioneer Award at the upcoming Precision Medicine World Conference in Santa Clara.

The HDFCCC Office of Community Engagement and Umoja Health recently provided cancer information and health resources at AAFAC Black Family Night, a cultural celebration for students, families, staff, and community partners, hosted by the African American Family Advisory Council (AAFAC) of the San Lorenzo School District.

The Office of DEIA will be hosting drop-in office hours on Jan 24 from 12 - 1:30 pm. Faculty, trainees, and staff are welcome to join via Zoom to ask any DEIA-related questions or just to meet our staff!

Open to any UCSF CRC, this scholarship covers the cost of becoming Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) certified, including membership fee, exam fee, and computer-based testing fee.
