BUY A TREE CHANGE A LIFE!!

ON OPENING DAY OF BUY A TREE CHANGE A LIFE DENISE BRAMLITT MADE A DONATION TO BUY A TREE FOR A FAMILY IN NEED. MANY TREES WERE SOLD MAKING NOT ONLY A LOCAL BUT A GLOBAL IMPACT. YESTERDAY PASTOR STEVE BURKOWSKE OF OPEN DOOR CHURCH OF GOD ON CRILL AVE., PRESENTED DENISE BRAMLITT, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF FEED THE NEED, & HER 2 HELPERS WITH A CHECK FOR $5000 FROM THEIR FUNDRAISER BUY A TREE CHANGE A LIFE. THIS WAS FROM CHRISTMAS TREE SALES THAT TOOK PLACE THIS PAST DECEMBER. THIS CHRISTMAS TREE SALES LOT DONATION WILL GO ON TO BLESS FOOD INSECURE STUDENTS IN PUTNAM COUNTY. FEED THE NEED IS SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL FOR OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS LIKE OPEN DOOR CHURCH OF GOD & SUPPORT FROM OUR DONORS ALL YEAR ROUND. WE COULD NOT FEED 800 STUDENTS EVERY WEEK WITHOUT EACH OF YOU!! A HUGE THANK YOU TO PASTOR STEVE BURKOWSKE & OPEN DOOR CHURCH OF GOD!!

OPERATION SURPRISE!!

HOME DEPOT MANAGER PASKELL ELLIOTT SURPRISED FEED THE NEED EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DENISE BRAMLITT WITH A $1000 DONATION FROM "OPERATION SURPRISE!" EVERY YEAR 1 NONPROFIT IS CHOSEN BY EACH LOCAL HOME DEPOT STORE ACROSS THE NATION TO RECIEVE $1000 TO RECOGNIZE THEIR OUTSTANDING EFFORTS TO MAKE DIFFERENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITES. WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS THE GRATITUDE & LOVE WE HAVE FOR OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS LIKE HOME DEPOT!! A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO PASKELL ELLIOTT & HOME DEPOT FOR MAKING AN IMPACT RIGHT HERE AT HOME!!

Douglas Law Firm held their holly jolly jelly drive along with a community photo-op with Santa Clause!

HOLLY JOLLY JELLY DRIVE

LOCAL BUSINESSES HELD A JELLY DRIVE FOR FEED THE NEED FEATURING NONE OTHER THAN, SANTA CLAUSE!! WHAT AN AWESOME WAY TO SPREAD CHRISTMAS CHEER WHILE SUPPORTING CHILDREN IN THIS COMMUNITY. OVER 1,000 JARS OF JELLY WAS COLLECTED AND WILL BE USED FOR FEED THE NEED'S WEEKEND BACKPACK PROGRAM. FEEDING OVER 800 STUDENTS EVERY SINGLE WEEK THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR IS NOT EASY BUT COMMUNITY PARTNERS LIKE THEM HELP MAKE IT POSSIBLE!!

Rite Cut beauty shop in Middleburg collected jelly at their salon. Mary Lundstrom and McKenzie are proud to be a part of this awesome, festive drive.

Palatka Sunrise Rotary also did a jelly drive collecting almost 400 jars to the jelly drive club members Lt to Rt is Amber Couver treasure, Leota Wilkinson secretary , Brenda Bridges President and Linda Bazaar collected from club members jelly and funds to purchase jelly .

The Feed The Need Holly Jolly Jelly Drive Big gives a big shout out to all PCSD employees that donated jelly 273 jars of jelly for Feed The Need , Renee Hough, Becky Motes and Justin Campbell show off total of jars collected , Thank you Traci Piscitello and Alice Keith for making this drive happen by reminding everyone to donate

Board Member Spot Light - Randi Revels

The paramount issue our community faces is weekend hunger in low-income Putnam County students. Our school district is very compassionate about their students and has enforced a Community Eligibility Program that provides students with free or reduced cost lunches while at school. But what about over the weekend at home? That’s where Feed the Need steps in with Randi on our team to work together towards our goal.

Randi is passionate about making the world a better place and she cares about our Putnam County community. Randi is a strong, smart woman who can accomplish anything she puts her mind to in a structured manner. She exceeds her task expectations and takes it to the next level to make certain this pertinent work is concise for our mission.

Our Volunteers are awesome!
