As congregations seek to live out the mission to which God has called them, what values frame the ways we think about our goals? Christ calls us to compassionate care for the community, yet we live in a structure that increasingly asks us to value and protect individual gain and ability over the good of the community. Our faith communities can help us resist the pervasive messages we receive that tell us we are not enough, that our only worth and happiness is in our monetary security. Together, we can ground ourselves in the security and worth of our loving communities instead.

This webinar is for anyone who has felt an increasing sense of loneliness and isolation as you struggle to follow God’s call with an underlying sense that we aren’t getting it quite right. We will explore practices, conversations, and exercises that can help move us from guilt and helplessness to connectedness and action.
