The weather is acting peculiar lately. Sunny and warm when it is supposed to be snowing. Snowing when the sun is bright, and there isn't a cloud in the sky. The weather is allowing some of us to see brilliant displays of the aurora borealis, which we couldn't in the past. Exploring the weather with these support resources, from Science Trek!

.Grades 6-12.

Join host Maiya May as she uncovers the current science behind extreme weather events and rapid climate change and reveals the successful solutions to these challenges. Through interviews with leading experts, current data and models, and educational animations, these videos not only explain how the Earth's systems respond to increases in greenhouse gas emissions but also introduce students to the adaptations and mitigations that will help human societies build resilience to those changes. Support materials accompanying each video provide engagement strategies for integrating these educational media into high school classrooms.
