WE ARE MADE UP OF BUSINESS PEOPLE LIKE YOU: entrepreneurs, craftsmen, innovators and problem-solvers. LRBRA is part of NH Home Builders, and our local is roughly 110 members strong including roughly half of the members being builders and remodelers.

Last year, LRBRA held over 12 membership networking events typically the third Thursday of every month with many more offered statewide. We held more than 45 sub-committee meetings - a great way to dive deeper into the membership and team up with others in the association (Golf, Parade of Homes, Scholarships, Finance, Workforce, Sponsorships, Hammers for Vets, Children's Auction and more). The homebuilders hosts the largest home show in the state with many ways for ALL members to get involved even if you don't have a booth. Our 17th annual golf tournament & fundraiser provided great networking opportunities extending far beyond the course - plan on getting involved this June with your fellow members for an afternoon of laughter, great food, spirit & prizes! We co-chaired a FREE OSHA training workshop and connected members with FREE LEAD training certifications. We held a FREE workshop with well known Building Science expert Peter Yost. We had guest speakers talk about important issues about supply chains, workforce shortages and new codes changes. We held virtual training sessions on ways members can squeeze out the most benefits including enhanced profiles and taking advantage of rebate programs. We held two very successful FREE speed networking events - with members walking away with new contacts. We enjoyed a FREE Summer BBQ grand reopening with one of our members with catered food, prizes, music & industry reps. We built our fourth affordable house with the Huot Tech students representing seven area high schools and provided Skilled Learning Day Experiences where our members could work side by side with the kids, job shadowing and even providing employment opportunities. We awarded educational scholarships to students furthering their education and we provided tool belts for students going directly into the trades. We bought some much needed tools for the building construction & HVAC programs at the Huot Tech Center. We provided over $1,500 worth of items for this year's Children's Auction as well as built the auction set and took it down too. The state committed to more membership networking opportunities with Beers & Bagels with Builder events all around the state! Members were recognized for their outstanding projects at the Cornerstone Awards. FREE professional photo sessions were offered to all members. Over 75 new members have joined state-wide in 2021. The Lakes Region Parade of Homes tour was back in person with close to 1,100 visitors connecting with builders and members. (lakesregionparadeofhomes.com)
