JARI Provides Funding to Art Studio Start Up

JARI is pleased to announce the Microloan funded business, The Art Farm. The Art Farm is located in Blair County and is a public art studio that offers many variations of art classes for people of all ages.

Heather Laird, owner, will offer private art lessons, after school children’s workshops and evening workshops for adults. She will also host Sip and Paint events, team building workshops and private events such as birthday parties, bridal parties and more. “The experiences I’ve had drove my passion to open a public art studio where customers can enroll in classes that I can teach in-house rather than traveling to several venues. The support I’ve had from family, friends, JARI, the Small Business Development Center and the business community has been tremendous in making this possible,” said Heather.
