JARI President Attends Danish Defence Conference

Linda Thomson, JARI President, recently attended the Danish Defence Annual Conference as part of a collaborative agreement with CenSec, a Danish defence cluster organization. CenSec officials are planning to attend and exhibit at the Showcase for Commerce on May 30 and 31, this being their 4th consecutive year for attending the event. Thomson met with executives from various high technology companies, officials with the Danish Embassy in Washington, DC, and CenSec leadership during the conference which was held in Aalborg, Denmark during the first week of February. Several companies have expressed interest in the Johnstown area as a place to set up operations in the U.S. Follow-up is ongoing. In addition, a follow on meeting is being set with the Danish Embassy in early March.

Thank you to Klaus Bolving and his CenSec team for their kind hospitality.
Sourceree Headquarters Move, Amid Growth Surge
Sourceree

Sourceree, with offices in Arlington, VA and Ebensburg, PA, relocated their headquarters in Ebensburg, PA to the Cambria County Industrial Park, accommodating growth.

Per Adam Murphy, President of Sourceree, “Due to our continued and anticipated growth, workspace constraints quickly become a major challenge in recent months. We performed an extensive search to find the right location to accommodate our culture, which is key to our success and attracting talent.”

The new headquarters building is currently undergoing remodeling to provide a modern light industrial look with an open work environment.  Additional space became necessary to meet contract requirements and pending opportunities requiring significant additions to the number of personnel in the company. Additionally, with the continued growth and success of the area from the efforts of various organizations such as the Cambria Regional Chamber, JARI, and the Bridge to Pittsburgh, many more opportunities to grow and expand are on the horizon.
