JARI and its Affiliates - Highlights of 45 Years: The 00s
2000 to 2005
JARI administered the $25 million Johnstown Renaissance project that involved the construction of the 33,000 square foot Frank J. Pasquerilla Conference Center, renovations at the War Memorial and the construction of a new 500 space parking garage.
JARI selected to administer one of 15 KIZs, which privides tax credits to local young companies.

Prime Design Solutions, LLC  provided valuable information to our  Expertise Matters  blog on JARI's website this week. The newest blog examines the advantages of using video in marketing and how to use it successfully. Topics include types of videos, where to distribute videos, and how to create a video.

Interview on Youth and Workforce Development with Community Foundation for the Alleghenies

On July 25, Workforce Director, Debi Balog, met with Philanthropy Interns from the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies to discuss youth and the perception of the Johnstown area. For one of their projects, Reagan Hajjar and Jenna Stofko created a radio documentary highlighting this important topic within our community. Debi discussed career pathways and quality of life in our area and how young people can plan a future in our community.

Open Season Outdoors Expands

JARI, Blair County Chamber of Commerce, and ABCD Corporation congratulate Chris Fedora, the owner of Open Season Outdoors, on his expansion. The company held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 30th at his new location at 2572 E Pleasant Valley Boulevard in Altoona. The new location offers the ability for customers to shoot bows in both an indoor and outdoor range, along with increased space for merchandise.
