JASPER JOHNS at THE WHITNEY
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2021
After stops in the Theater District (Yes!) and lower Mid-town our final destination today is the WHITNEY MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART. On view Is JASPER JOHNS: MIND/MIRROR, the largest retrospective of the artist’s seven-decade career which takes place simultaneously at the WHITNEY and our own PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM OF ART. Each exhibit provides a vivid chronological survey of the work of this iconic living American artist. Suggestions for lunch will be provided in the Meatpacking District where the WHITNEY is located. www.whitney.org
Museums require timed tickets in advance. When you check your preferred museum's website, you will find this easy to arrange. Consider arrival time in New York and lunch arrangements when scheduling your admission time. Do not hesitate to call upon me for assistance if you need it. Effective October 1, 2021, there will be a $10 service charge per order if I purchase museum tickets for you and your traveling companions.
