The schedule will be released late Sunday night. It has been extremely challenging, especially with a lot of last minute changes.

I would like to thank you for helping me when I got stuck and to help me find solutions. I am spending the remainder of the weekend on final fixes.

Unfortunately this is not a perfect process. To facilitate competition and geography, we have some small divisions, uneven # of teams in divisions, unbalanced gym availability (too many Sat & Sun games) and in some cases too many conflict dates.

What we have is a full 16 game schedule with a min of 7 home games per team (with the exception of those, that did not supply enough gym availability)

It is not perfect. We do not have home/home match ups, as its nearly impossible with divisions under 17 teams and scheduling variability between towns.

Monday will start the onslaught of your teams seeking perfection or "3 Bears service" - They all want the schedule that's "Just Right". I tried for perfection but I feel we caught excellence!

Since I do not have all of the town Coach contact info, please forward this email on and then please enter your coach info into ZebraWeb and send me a hard copy on the spreadsheet form I sent out earlier this week. I cannot communicate with Coaches without it. Only half of you have done this. Unless you have a 15-20+team town, this process should take 15 minutes.

Directors, please make sure that any game changes are initiated by you and not your coaches. Teams do not call their opponent to cancel or change games. Only 4/1 game rescheduling. They need to go through you, so that the request can be verified as a legitimate change and not concierge service.

Once the JBL releases the league schedule, Towns/Organizations have 7 days to contact the JBL via email JBL-Hoops@comcast.net with Change of Game Date, Location, and Time for any changes that need to be made.

The cutoff for changes will be Sunday 11/28. 

The only accepted changes would be a missed conflict dates, new school/gym closing, excessive games in a row or week, and of course any mistakes we might have made.

We will not change games scheduled against the same team 2X at home/away or too many games in December. December is the best weather month of the season and we need to utilize all gym availability in the front end of the season, so we have the ability to schedule postponements on the back end. We also will not change games for holiday parties, tournaments or other activities. This is Basketball season.

For 4/1 game rescheduling, for your home games, please give your coaches a few options to offer your opponents. If you do not have availability, we will move the game to your opponents venues, then they can contact their opponent to find a date.

Please send me your changes, preferably on an excel spreadsheet. I need the game #, Date, time, and venue with the original date so I can look it up and fix

I am excited to announce a special event to kick off the season. On Thursday night 12/2 Cranford and Branchburg G7Gold with play the inaugural regular season game in the JBL.

The game will be broadcasted live-streamed via internet simulcast.
